Abstract
In this research Emamzadeh Ali Landslide have been investigated accurately. The landslide is located approximately 80Km. from Tehran in Haraz Road, southeast of Damavand Mountain. It is one of the slides along the road. In this paper mechanism of the slide have been discussed. To find out about the mechanism of the slide the results of the field investigation and measurement, including geological and structural condition of the area were analyzed. Based on the mechanism, a pattern for development of the slide has been presented. The study indicates a rotational- transitional mechanism, which in its geological evolution and structural conditions played significant role.
