Evaluation of the mineral occurrences, always are the main task for the most geologists who are dealing with the mineral exploration. There are several methods that- applied by the field geologists for evaluating mineral indications. Thus, the chosen method should enable us to give sufficient and logical explanations to the subjects related to mineral occurrences. The most important subjects are as follows: 1- The presence of a suitable host rock for mineral deposition. 2- The genetic type of mineralization and its relationship to the host rocks. 3- Grades of main and minor minerals and elements. 4- Paragenesis of elements and minerals. 5- The relation between the mineral indices and possible blind mineralization. 6- The erosional surface of ore deposit. This paper presents the purpose, significance and the practical method for evaluating to achieve as close as possible to the above aims. Kamo mineral occurrences, where have been identified in the Kashan Quadrangle map (1:25000), is an interesting mineralization zone for this purpose. 38 rock samples have been collected along a profile (AA') through the mineralization zone, and analyzed for 14 elements and 10 oxides by spectrometry method. The mineralization formed by contact metamorphism of Cretaceous Limestone and an intrusive granodiorite, as well as occurring within the Eocene Volcanic rocks. Chalcopyrite, Covelite, marcasite, arsenopyrite, pyrite, garnet, epidote, and magnetite (Iron Lenses) minerals are associated with the skarn zone and less dominated within the Volcano- sedimentary rocks. According to the geochemical study, it has been found that the high concentration of Fe2O3, MgO, MnO, Cu, Ga, Y, Cr, CO, and Sn occurred in the first part of the profile AA' (eastern part) being associated with the skarn Zone. The multiplicative values of above- ore elements and under - ore elements ratio, shows the possibility of mineralization in the eastern part of the study area, being close to the present surface. Comparing matrix and also the cluster analyses indicate a strong possibility of the mineralization, particularly of the skarn type in the eastern portion as well as rocks of volcanic origin in the western parts. These two zones could be taken into account as the exploration targets.
