Dissolution of the inscription caused serious damage to the most important heritage of the country. The area comprises massive gray limestones of the Lower Cretaceous as a part of high Zagros thrust belt. Accordingly, the limestones are extensively tectonized and two main joint sets are developed in the area. Joint study was performed in an area of one km around the inscription. Thereby, it is revealed that these joint sets had impact on the dissolution of limestones. Limestone beds containing inscription are composed of mudstone to bioclastic algal wackestones. Original mineralogy of these algal bioclasts was aragonite. A few foraminifers and pellet also occur in some samples. Extensive jointing and unstable original mineralogy of limestone components lead to the dissolution of limestones in a meteoric condition. Evidences such as moldic, vuggy, canal, and cavern porosity suggest a meteoric diagenetic environment. Vugs up to centimeter scale in the field observations are evidences of karstification in the area. Jointing and dip direction of the bedding plane cut across the middle part of the inscription; conduct the corrosive rainfall precipitation toward the inscription surface. Consequently dissolution pit and holes were developed on it. Apparently the only practical way for remediation is to keep the inscription surface away from these corrosive waters. Considering the dip direction of the bedding plane, jointing on limestones and karstification in the area, it is recommended to drain the waters from bedding plane through a canal in a considerable distance from the inscription surface.}, keywords = {Diagenesis,Bisotun,karst,Joint,Petrography,Carbonates}, title_fa = {مطالعه سنگ‌نگاری و سیستم درزه منطقه بیستون به منظور پی بردن به علل فرسایش سنگ‌نوشته بیستون}, abstract_fa = {       سنگ نوشته بیستون در کناره شمالی جاده کرمانشاه به همدان و در فاصله 40 کیلومتری شهرکرمانشاه بر روی صخره‌های آهکی کنار جاده نقش بسته است. انحلال سطح سنگ‌نوشته سبب تخریب بخشی از این میراث بی‌نظیرشده است. سن سنگهای مورد مطالعه در محدوده کتیبه یاد شده کرتاسه زیرین است و در پیرامون شبکه گسترده‌ای از راندگیها بویژه در  شمال- شمال باختری قرار گرفته‌اند که از جمله آنها می‌توان به راندگی پراوکه از روستای نژیواران تا حوالی کرمانشاه ادامه دارد و شبکه راندگیهای بین روستای نادرآباد تا اشرف آباد اشاره کرد. بدین خاطر، آهکهای منطقه به شدت تکتونیزه هستند. شبکه درزه‌ها در این منطقه به شعاع یک کیلومتر به مرکزیت سنگ‌نوشته اندازه‌گیری و تحلیل شدند. دو دسته درزه اصلی در این منطقه توسعه یافته و باعث تشدید انحلال آهکها در ناحیه بیستون شده است. لایه در بردارنده سنگ‌نوشته متشکل از میکرایت فسیل‌دار (مادستون تا وکستون) با قطعات زیست‌آواری از جنس جلبکهای آهکی با ترکیب اولیه آراگونیتی بوده است و مقداری روزن‌داران و پلت نیز در بین آنها دیده می‌شود. به علت توسعه درزه‌ها و وجود اجزای ناپایدار آراگونیتی، این آهکها در محیط دیاژنزی جوی  متحمل انحلال شده و تشدید روند انحلال منجر به کارستی شدن آهکها شده است. تخلخل قالبی، حفره‌ای، کانالی، و غاری ازجمله شواهد تأیید کننده روند گسترش انحلال در منطقه است. مشاهده حفره‌های انحلالی به ابعاد چند میلی‌متر تا دهها سانتی‌متردرسطح زمین گویای این موضوع است. توسعه درزه‌ها به همراه شیب لایه‌بندی سبب هدایت سیالهای جوی به سوی سطح (دیواره) سنگ نوشته شده است. در نتیجه در محلهای ریزش آب، چندین حفره در سطح سنگ‌نوشته ایجاد شده و باعث آسیب فراوان آن می‌شود. با توجه به جهت شیب لایه‌بندی و گسترش شبکه کارستی در آهکهای ناپایدار از لحاظ سنگ‌شناسی، تنها راه حل ممکن دور نمودن سیالهای نفوذی خورنده از سطح سنگ‌نوشته و انحراف مسیر تخلیه طبیعی آنهاست.}, keywords_fa = {Diagenesis,Bisotun,karst,Joint,Petrography,Carbonates}, url = {http://www.gsjournal.ir/article_58446.html}, eprint = {http://www.gsjournal.ir/article_58446_0cd64a4fd6119d3bf9da7852b498a636.pdf} }
