This is the first report of the bradyodonts from north Iran. Gross (1962) had pointed to the presence of the bradyodonts from Lower Carboniferous of the Kerman region. It can be said that, based on this specimen, the bradyodonts had a wide distribution in central and north Iran, during Early Carboniferous in a shallow marine environment.
