The occurrence of numerous historical and instrumental earthquakes in this area indicates its high seismic activity. Therefore, it is necessary to study its seismicity using different methods. In this research, the mono and multifractal analyses have been applied for quantification of earthquakes pattern in the GolestanProvince. For this aim, the correlation dimension, generalized multifractal dimensions and singularity spectrum f (α<sub>q</sub>) have been calculated using the correlation integral and fix-mass methods. The epicentral analyses of earthquakes showed that their distribution has two scaling ranges with two different patterns and mechanisms controlling the earthquake pattern in these scales. It seems that the movements of small faults and fractures, which caused increasing the correlation dimension (1.84) and heterogeneity of multifractal structure, controlled the small scale. However, at large scale, the distribution of earthquakes is mostly controlled by the main structural trends, which in turn results in becoming almost linear their correlation dimension and also more homogeneous multifractal structure. استان گلستان در یکی از پهنه‌های لرزه‌خیز دنیا قرار دارد که رخداد زمین‌لرزه‌های  تاریخی و دستگاهی بسیار نشان از فعالیت بالای لرزه‌خیزی آن دارد.  بنابراین، مطالعه لرزه‌خیزی این استان با استفاده از روش‌های گوناگون لازم و ضروری است. در این پژوهش از ابزارهای فرکتالی و چندفرکتالی برای مطالعه کمی الگوی زمین‌لرزه‌های استان گلستان استفاده شد. برای این منظور با به‌کارگیری روش‌های انتگرال همبستگی و روش جرم ثابت، بعد همبستگی (D<sub>2</sub>)، ابعاد عمومی چندفرکتالی(D<sub>q</sub>)  و طیف f(α<sub>q</sub>) زمین‌لرزه‌ها به‌دست آمد. تجزیه و تحلیل  مراکز سطحی زمین‌لرزه‌های استان گلستان نشان داد که پراکندگی آنها‌ دارای دو محدوده مقیاسی با دو الگوی متفاوت است و  سازوکاری که الگوی زمین‌لرزه‌ها را در این دو مقیاس کنترل می‌کند با یکدیگر تفاوت دارد. به‌نظر می‌رسد مقیاس کوتاه توسط جابه‌جایی روی گسل‌ها و شکستگی‌های کوچک کنترل می‌شود که سبب شده است تا  بعد همبستگی پراکندگی مکانی زمین‌لرزه‌ها زیاد  (84/1) و ساختار چندفرکتالی آنها نیز بسیار ناهمگن شود. ولی پراکندگی زمین‌لرزه‌ها در مقیاس بزرگ‌تر بیشتر در کنترل روندهای ساختاری چیره در آمده که سبب‌شده است تا  بعد همبستگی پراکندگی آنها تقریبا" خطی و ساختار چندفرکتالی همگن‌تر شود. زمین‌لرزه روش چندفرکتالی استان گلستان فاکتور عدم تقارن لرزه‌خیزی http://www.gsjournal.ir/article_43691_9f1d02b2b8503d48b09f6a13dfa62af3.pdf
