چکیده

 کمپلکس نفوذی اولترامافیک – مافیک هشتسر، در 20 کیلومتری خاور شهرستان کلیبر، در استان آذربایجان شرقی قرار دارد. این کمپلکس حلقوی قلیایی، حاصل نفوذ فازهای مختلف ماگمایی تحت اشباع و اشباع با سن‌های مختلف ائوسن بالایی تا الیگوسن- میوسن است. بررسی‌های سنگ‌شناسی نشان می‌‌دهد که این توده شامل سه فاز اصلی است. فاز اول از ملانوآلکالی پیروکسنیت غنی از مانیتیت، آلکالی پیروکسنیت پلاژیوکلازدار و ملاآلکالی گابرو به همراه دایک‌های پگماتویید گابرو تشکیل یافته است. فاز دوم از لوکوگابرو - دیوریت نفلین‌دار تا نفلین مونزودیوریت و نفلین مونزونیت تشکیل شده و فاز سوم سی‌ینیت به همراه کوارتزمونزو سی‌ینیت تا گرانیت با طبیعت کلسیمی – قلیایی  است. مطالعات ژئوشیمیایی نشان می‌دهند که فازهای تحت اشباع از عناصر کمیاب بویژه LREE و LILE به شدت غنی شده‌اند. این ماگماها از یک ماگمای مادر با ماهیت آلکالن پتاسیک، از یک گوشته متاسوماتیک سرچشمه گرفته است. انواع سنگ‌های مختلف فازهای تحت اشباع بر اثر فرایندهای ناآمیختگی ماگمایی، تبلور بخشی و تجمع بلورین به‌وجود آمده‌اند. ماگمای کلسیمی - قلیایی فاز سوم نیز به طور معمول از ذوب پوسته زیرین به علت نفوذ فازهای اول و دوم ناشی شده است. جایگیری خاص و حلقوی این کمپلکس در نتیجه فوران و تخلیه آشیانه ماگمایی بزرگ و زونه پس از فرونشست کالدرا مانند ردیف آتشفشانی سازند مجیدآباد در منطقه هشتسر بوجود آمده است.
