چکیده

منطقه گناباد در مناطق خشک قرار داشته که سالانه حدود 5/19 میلیون مترمکعب آب زیرزمینی از طریق 26 رشته قنات تخلیه می گردد. از 6 رشته قنات مهم دشت نمونه‌برداری جهت آنالیزهای هیدروشیمیایی و ایزوتوپی به هدف تعیین منشأ و مکانیسم جریان آب زیرزمینی قنات‌ها انجام شده است. میزان مواد جامد محلول آب از 524 تا 2375 میلی‌گرم بر لیتر متغیر است. تیپ‌های غالب آب در قنات‌ها شامل بی‌کربناته سدیک منیزیک و کلروره سدیک است. آب قنات‌ها نسبت به کانی‌های کربناته اشباع و فوق اشباع و نسبت به کانی‌های تبخیری تحت اشباع است که نشان‌دهنده این است که ترکیب آب زیرزمینی قنات‌ها توسط انحلال سنگ‌های کربناته حوضه کنترل می‌شود. نتایج ایزوتوپ‌های پایدار اکسیژن 18 و دوتریم نشان‌دهنده منشأ جوی آب قنات‌ها است. به طوریکه مکانیسم جریان از طریق نفوذ مستقیم بارش قبل از تبخیر از طریق درز و شکاف‌های سنگ‌های آهکی حوضه و همچنین نفوذ آب‌های سطحی در آبرفتهای درشت دانه حاشیه ارتفاعات حوضه می‌باشد. تغذیه آب زیرزمینی قنات‌ها از محدوده‌ای در ارتفاعات بین 2000 تا 2700 متر منشأ می‌گیرد. ترکیب ایزوتوپی قنات‌ها در فصل‌تر به دلیل تغذیه از بارش سبکتر و در فصل خشک به دلیل تغذیه از آب برگشتی کشاورزی قنات‌ها و چشمه‌های ارتفاعات جنوب حوضه سنگین‌تر است.
